Chennai, Feb 3 (NationPress) The Tamil Nadu BJP spokesperson A.N.S. Prasad expressed enthusiasm on Tuesday regarding the groundbreaking India-US trade agreement that was revealed following a phone call between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump. He characterized this moment as pivotal, poised to transform global trade relations and enhance the partnership between the world’s two largest democracies.

In his statement, Prasad emphasized that the deal, which reduces US tariffs on Indian products from exorbitant rates of up to 50% to a reciprocal 18% rate effective immediately, creates extraordinary prospects for Indian exporters.
