Previously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that ‘Made in India’ products will now benefit from a reduced tariff of 18 percent, as US President Donald Trump confirmed that India and the United States have reached a trade deal. PM Modi shared on X that it was “wonderful to converse with my dear friend President Trump today.”
“When two large economies and the world’s largest democracies collaborate, it benefits our populations and unlocks vast opportunities for mutually advantageous cooperation. President Trump’s leadership is crucial for global peace, stability, and prosperity. India wholeheartedly supports his peace initiatives,” PM Modi asserted.
