New Delhi, March 5 (NationPress) External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar engaged with Finnish President Alexander Stubb on Thursday, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations prior to the President's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The EAM expressed optimism that President Stubb's discussions with the Prime Minister later that day would serve to further solidify the partnership between the two nations.

In a post shared on X, EAM Jaishankar remarked, "I was pleased to meet President Alexander Stubb of Finland this morning in Delhi. I am confident that his discussions with PM Narendra Modi will deepen India-Finland relations."

President Stubb arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to India, extended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
