"I had a productive dialogue with President Alexander Stubb. Finland stands as a key partner within the EU. We are devoted to elevating our bilateral relations. We exchanged views on regional and global matters, including the circumstances surrounding Ukraine," PM Modi stated on X following the call.

As reported by the Prime Minister's Office, both leaders assessed the existing collaboration between their countries, which encompasses the fields of digitalization, sustainability, and mobility, while also sharing insights on significant regional and international issues, particularly the situation in Ukraine.

Both leaders agreed to maintain their communication, with Finland's President expressing his nation's support for closer India-EU relations and the prompt conclusion of a mutually advantageous FTA.
