Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Bengaluru, Feb 28 (NationPress) A woman from Karnataka has captured a video depicting what she described as a live conflict scenario in Bahrain, following reports of missile strikes by Iran targeting US military facilities.
The footage, which emerged on Saturday, has gained significant traction across various social media networks. The bravery displayed by Sabreen, who filmed the scenes during such a precarious moment, has been commended widely online.
The 2.11-minute clip, recorded from the rooftop of her home in Bahrain, portrays thick smoke billowing in the distance, allegedly as a result of missile strikes on US military outposts.
In the footage, Sabreen introduces herself in Kannada, stating, “Hello everyone, my name is Sabreen. I come from Karnataka, India, specifically from Shiralakuppa town in the Shikaripura taluk of the Shivamogga district. I am sharing this because I am presently in Bahrain.”
“There exists a palpable sense of dread in Bahrain. The reason is the ongoing conflict involving America, Israel, and Iran. All Kannada individuals living in Bahrain are feeling anxious. This fear is not confined to the Kannada community; locals and people from various nations are also apprehensive,” she articulates in the video.
“I will present to you the live strikes launched by Iran on American military bases situated in the Zaffeir region of Bahrain. Iran is assaulting the US military establishment here,” Sabreen announces.
“You will witness live images of smoke rising from the US installations. Missiles have been launched one after the other since morning. The detonations are terrifying,” she explains.
“Currently, the situation is somewhat calm. That’s why I’ve come to the terrace to film this video. You can clearly see the smoke behind me. It is quite visible. The atmosphere has been distressing all morning. We are uncertain about where this may lead. All we can do is pray,” Sabreen adds.
She further mentions that earlier in the day, missiles were observed passing over residential areas. “The entire sky above us was filled with missile activity,” she recalls.
The legitimacy of the visuals and the specific locations referenced in the video remain unverified independently.
