Patna, June 11 (NationPress) Political strategist and founder of Jan Suraaj, Prashant Kishor, has escalated his criticism of Bihar's political landscape, particularly targeting Lalu Prasad, the Chief of Rashtriya Janata Dal. This came after Lalu's social media remarks aimed at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, highlighting the alarming law and order situation in Bihar.

Kishor ridiculed Lalu Prasad, stating: "To hear Lalu Prasad Yadav speak about crime is akin to a jungle lion claiming to be a vegetarian. It’s simply unbelievable."

This rebuke followed Lalu's post on his official X account, where he sarcastically referenced Nitish Kumar's frequent commentary on the "Jungle Raj" from the era of Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, during which Nitish claimed that citizens feared leaving their homes after 5 p.m.

In a counter, Lalu Prasad questioned: "Are all these crimes exclusively happening post 5 p.m.? Can Nitish Kumar provide a count of the crimes occurring before then?"

Quoting official statistics, Lalu Prasad asserted that Bihar has witnessed over 65,000 murders during Nitish Kumar's administration.

Kishor also addressed comments made by Jitan Ram Manjhi, founder of Hindustani Awam Morcha and former Chief Minister, regarding the law and order in Bihar.

"If Manjhi is genuinely concerned, he should resign from his role as a Union Minister and advocate for the Manjhi community instead of prioritizing his family's political aspirations. Recently, a horrific rape incident occurred involving a minor Dalit girl in Muzaffarpur, yet he remained silent," Kishor expressed.

The Jan Suraaj leader did not hold back from criticizing CM Nitish Kumar, launching both personal and political attacks.

"Nitish Kumar's credibility is in ruins. His mental and physical state is unfit for leading Bihar," Kishor declared.

He even challenged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to take legal action against him, stating: "If my remarks are indeed objectionable, then Nitish Kumar should file a defamation lawsuit against me."

During a public assembly in Garkha, Kishor painted a bleak picture of corruption within Bihar's bureaucracy, claiming that bribes are demanded for basic services, such as ration cards and land receipts.

"Officials and politicians are exploiting the populace. The citizens are pacified with 5 kg of grain, a gas cylinder, and electricity, but no one addresses the lack of education and job opportunities for their children," he mentioned.

Urging for a revolution through the ballot box, Kishor implored voters: "In the next election, do not cast your votes for Lalu, Nitish, or Narendra Modi. Reflect on your children's faces. Vote for their future, not for leaders who betray your trust."

Point of View

The situation in Bihar reflects a critical need for accountability and reforms in the political landscape. Kishor's assertions highlight the urgent issues citizens face, suggesting that effective leadership must prioritize both public safety and economic opportunities.
