Madhya Pradesh CM Remembers Dr. Manmohan Singh for His Economic Contributions

Bhopal, December 27 (NationPress) – The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, emphasizing that the late ex-PM will be eternally recognized for his significant contributions to the nation’s economic growth.
In a post on X, Mohan Yadav stated: "The loss of former Prime Minister of India and eminent economist Dr. Manmohan Singh is an irreplaceable blow to the political sphere. As I pay my respects, I ask God to grant tranquility to his soul."
"Throughout his tenures as RBI Governor, Finance Minister, and Prime Minister, he played a pivotal role in advancing the economic prosperity of our country through his adept and visionary policies, bravely confronting numerous challenges. His legacy in economic development will forever be cherished. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the grieving family during this difficult time."
Politicians from various parties in Madhya Pradesh have also shared their sorrow regarding the death of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, who passed away late Thursday in Delhi.
Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh conveyed his sympathies, noting that Dr. Manmohan Singh enhanced the dignity of every position he held.
"I pay my sincere tribute to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh! As a true patriot and advocate for democracy, he not only excelled during his tenure as Prime Minister but also skillfully revitalized the struggling economy in the 1990s with his insight," Digvijaya Singh remarked in a social media message.
Congress veteran Kamal Nath, who served as a minister in Dr. Manmohan Singh's cabinet, expressed that the loss of Dr. Singh is felt profoundly across the nation.
"I was among the fortunate individuals who had the privilege to work as a Union Minister during his time as Prime Minister," Kamal Nath stated.
Senior BJP leader and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan remembered Dr. Manmohan Singh as a person of great humility.
"Dr. Manmohan Singh was remarkably modest, simple, and honest. During my tenure as Chief Minister, I received his guidance on numerous issues. Dr. Saheb embodied clean politics. His liberalization initiatives in the 1990s played a crucial role in boosting the Indian economy," he noted.
Dr. Manmohan Singh, who passed away at the age of 92 on Thursday, was a visionary leader credited with transforming the nation's economy during challenging times.
Born on September 26, 1932, in Gah, West Punjab (now part of Pakistan), Dr. Manmohan Singh was a renowned economist and politician who left a lasting legacy as Prime Minister. He led the Congress-led government at the national level from 2004 to 2014.
As the first Sikh to assume the role of Prime Minister, Dr. Singh's leadership is frequently recognized for guiding India through a pivotal era of economic change.
