During a meeting in his war room, he reviewed the current status of 30 projects.
In earlier meetings, a total of 33 projects were evaluated.
During those discussions, approximately 135 issues were addressed, leading to actionable decisions, as stated by the Chief Minister.
He received updates on the implementation of these decisions during the recent meeting.
Chief Minister Fadnavis conducted a thorough review of key projects, which included the Bombay Development Department (BDD) Chawl redevelopment, Mumbai Metro Line 4 (Wadala to Kasarvadavali), Metro Line 5 (Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan), Mumbai Metro 6 (Swami Samarthanagar-Vikhroli), Metro Line 2B (DN Nagar to Mandala), Mumbai Metro 7A (Andheri-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Terminal 2), and Mumbai Metro Line 9 (Dahisar (East) to Mira Bhayandar), among others.
He also assessed the progress of the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar City Water Supply Project, Kudus Aarey Connectivity, and the Rs 76,000 crore Vadhavan Port Project.
"We possess the latest technology, thus projects should be completed swiftly. The challenges faced in executing all metro initiatives in the state, particularly in Mumbai, must be resolved promptly. Additionally, housing developments should be situated near the final metro station," he remarked.
He instructed immediate allocation of funds for the metro and other infrastructure undertakings.
While overseeing the execution of infrastructure projects, the Chief Minister stated that it is crucial to ensure timely completion.
"Instead of individual dashboards, each project’s current status should be consolidated on the Chief Minister's dashboard. Regular updates must be provided, and the implementation of decisions made in the war room review meeting should be finalized before the next meeting," he asserted.
Chief Minister Fadnavis urged implementation agencies and departments to present matters requiring cabinet approval.
"Should any issues arise post-review meeting decisions, the war room must be notified to facilitate immediate resolution. The projects and decisions discussed in the war room must be treated with utmost seriousness," he emphasized.
According to the government statement, the State Housing department indicated that residents of BDD Chawl in Worli will soon be allocated flats.
Steps will also be taken to ensure residents of Naigaon and NM Joshi Marg Chawls receive their flats within the specified timeframe, as per the announcement.
