Maha's 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' Empowers Women, Beneficiaries Thank PM Modi

Mumbai, Dec 10 (NationPress) The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana has proven to be a significant triumph throughout Maharashtra, with female beneficiaries conveying their genuine gratitude towards the scheme and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Initiated by the BJP-led MahaYuti government in July of this year, this program is making a notable difference by empowering women and granting them the autonomy to utilize financial aid as per their requirements. The initiative transfers ₹1,500 directly into the bank accounts of eligible women, with intentions to expand the benefits to over 1 crore women across the state.
Women in various regions of the state are currently receiving monthly payments, fostering an atmosphere of joy and appreciation. Numerous beneficiaries have conveyed their gratitude towards the Modi government, commending the scheme for not only providing monetary support but also for ensuring women's independence in deciding how to allocate the funds.
Reeta Singh, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her delight with IANS, stating, “This is an excellent initiative from our government. We are receiving ₹1,500 in our accounts, and we feel incredibly fortunate. Now, with the increase to ₹2,000, we can purchase medications, fund our children's education, or simply utilize the money as we wish. No one will question us on our spending. Furthermore, we are also benefiting from additional schemes like PM Ujjwala Yojana and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. We are thankful to PM Modi for these initiatives and bless him for introducing such programs for individuals like us.”
Sadhna Singh, another beneficiary, shared similar thoughts, saying, “This initiative is genuinely beneficial. We will allocate the funds for our necessities, and we fully support PM Modi. It’s a remarkable endeavor by the government to assist us.”
Deepa Khatri also commended the scheme, stating, “This is a fantastic move by the government. With this money, we can cover our children's tuition fees. I am immensely grateful to PM Modi for considering our needs.”
Meena Bora, another beneficiary, expressed her appreciation, saying, “The government’s support is greatly valued, and I wish to thank PM Modi for this initiative. It is a significant step towards the empowerment of women.”
The scheme is directed towards women aged between 21 and 65 years from families with an annual income below ₹2.5 lakh. Its objective is to enhance the financial standing of women, particularly those who are frequently neglected, such as homemakers and individuals from low-income families.
By granting women authority over their finances, the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is fostering a sense of independence and security, ensuring that women have the means to make choices for their families and themselves. The state government’s initiative has garnered widespread acclaim, as women continue to experience the scheme’s positive influence on their daily lives.
