Amaravati, May 2 (NationPress) Tollywood actor Manchu Vishnu paid a heartfelt visit to the family of Somishetty Madhusudhan Rao, one of the victims of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack.
Vishnu arrived at Madhusudhan's residence in Kavali, located in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
The actor presented floral tributes to the portrait of the deceased and extended his condolences to Madhusudhan's wife and their two children.
Prominent choreographer Johnny Master also showed his support by visiting the grieving family on Thursday.
In a statement to the media, Johnny Master condemned such attacks as attempts to sow division among communities based on religion. He emphasized that all Indians stand united.
"Despite efforts to divide us, Hindus, Muslims, and Christians will remain united to uphold the Indian Tricolor," he asserted.
Madhusudhan, aged 42, was a software engineer based in Bengaluru and was among the 26 tourists who lost their lives in the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22.
He was visiting Kashmir with his wife, Kamakshi, and their young son and daughter.
Having lived in Bengaluru for the past 12 years, Madhusudhan was the only son of Tirupal and Padmavathi, who run a banana business in their hometown.
On April 24, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan visited Kavali to pay his respects to Madhusudhan.
The actor-politician laid a wreath at the software engineer's mortal remains and consoled the family.
Pawan Kalyan subsequently announced a financial aid of Rs 50 lakh for Madhusudhan's family, on behalf of the Jana Sena Party.
Madhusudhan was one of two individuals from Andhra Pradesh who perished in the attack.
Another victim, J.S. Chandramouli, a retired bank employee from Visakhapatnam, also fell victim to the terrorists.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu received Chandramouli's remains at Visakhapatnam Airport on April 23.
CM Naidu announced compensation of Rs 10 lakh each for the families of both Chandramouli and Madhusudhan.
