Jaipur, Feb 28 (NationPress) On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a pointed critique against the Congress party, asserting that the Indian National Congress has evolved into the 'Muslim League-Maoist Congress' (MMC).

While addressing a crowd in Ajmer, PM Modi remarked, "The Congress party relentlessly seeks chances to tarnish the nation's image. The country will not forget such acts of treachery. It has long been a habit of Congress to defame India and its armed forces."

He further claimed that the Congress neglected the welfare of soldiers during its governance.

"This is the same party that deprived our soldiers of essential weapons and uniforms, and refused them the One Rank One Pension scheme," he stated.

Discussing a recent global AI conference held in Delhi, the Prime Minister highlighted that leaders and ministers from various nations, alongside heads of significant global corporations, convened to commend India's advancements.

"When the world openly acknowledges India's achievements, do you not feel a sense of pride? Does your heart not swell with national pride?" he queried the audience.

"While you felt proud, Congress, disheartened by its repeated losses, attempted to tarnish the country's reputation in front of international guests," he asserted.

PM Modi contended that "historical evidence reveals that the Muslim League-Maoist Congress (MMC) mindset has harbored animosity towards India, leading to the nation's partition, and now Congress is retracing the same steps."

He emphasized that the people of India would not forgive Congress for "defaming" the nation.

"Defaming the nation and its military is a long-standing practice of Congress. They denied our forces proper equipment and uniforms, as well as the benefits of One Rank One Pension. This same party was embroiled in numerous scams," the Prime Minister noted.

Speaking on military operations, he stated, "From the Surgical Strike to Operation Sindoor, our armed forces have demonstrated their capabilities. However, some Congress leaders chose to disseminate misinformation that mirrored the narratives of our adversaries."

PM Modi further accused the party of opposing initiatives beneficial to the nation, asserting that the country holds it accountable for such actions.

Turning his focus to Rajasthan, PM Modi criticized the previous Congress administration for stalling essential development projects.

"Crucial schemes like the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) were left dormant in files. Our government has revived them and brought them to fruition," he stated, highlighting the potential benefits of river-linking projects for Rajasthan.

He declared that the double-engine government is committed to ensuring that farmers reap the rewards of such initiatives, stating that efforts are underway to enhance groundwater levels across the state through strategic planning and execution.

Additionally, he underscored Rajasthan's potential for solar energy.

"Rajasthan enjoys abundant sunlight, which is now transforming into a source of income and electricity," he remarked, referencing the impactful PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

According to the Prime Minister, this scheme has the potential to revolutionize Rajasthan's fate by providing households with free electricity through rooftop solar setups.

During this event, development projects valued at Rs 17,000 crore were inaugurated, and foundation stones were laid, which will improve public facilities and generate job opportunities for the youth," he concluded.

He also highlighted reforms in recruitment practices, saying, "Two years ago, Rajasthan was notorious for paper leaks. Now, those leaks have been eliminated, and stringent actions are being taken against the offenders. Today, appointment letters have been distributed to 21,800 youth. This marks a significant transformation."
