New Delhi, May 9 (NationPress) Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan after the terror incident in Pahalgam, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Mohibbullah Nadvi praised the Indian Armed Forces for their resolute and decisive actions in response to Pakistan's provocations following Operation Sindoor.
The Indian military's firm response to unprovoked Pakistani attacks has garnered widespread support and admiration across the country. Nadvi referred to this moment as a source of national pride, highlighting the courage and unity of the Indian populace.
In a conversation with IANS, Nadvi stated, "This is a moment of pride for our entire nation. We take great pride in our military, which is valiantly responding to the enemy. Today, the nation stands united. Such actions should have been taken long ago in response to Pakistan's disgraceful conduct. Though it may be late, this action was essential."
He asserted that India will not rest until Pakistan's terror infrastructure is completely dismantled.
"Until the terror factories in Pakistan are entirely shut down, and until our armed forces achieve their goals, we must remain resolute. Today, we are proud that all political parties, all faiths, and every Indian citizen are standing together. We honor the bravery of our soldiers," he added.
Nadvi’s comments come at a time when international apprehension is growing over the potential escalation between the two nuclear-armed nations. In response to remarks made by US Vice President J.D. Vance, who expressed hope for avoiding nuclear conflict, Nadvi responded with conviction.
"Naturally, no one desires a nuclear war. However, for over 50 years, India has suffered in Kashmir in ways that no global power, including the US or Russia, can fully comprehend. We have repeatedly warned Pakistan to abandon its course of terrorism. They ignored us, and now they are facing the repercussions of their actions," Nadvi asserted.
As tensions escalate, there are increasing calls for international intervention to pressure Pakistan into dismantling terror networks.
