Amaravati/Patna, Nov 9 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources Development and Information Technology Nara Lokesh urged the citizens of Bihar on Sunday to extend their support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) by granting them another term. He emphasized that only a double-engine government can facilitate the ongoing development of the state.

On the final day of campaigning for the second phase of Assembly elections in Bihar, the general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) conducted a press conference in Patna.

He informed the electorate that shifting the government during a time of progress would hinder development efforts. He pointed out that in Andhra Pradesh, the YSR Congress Party gained power by asking for a chance from the populace, which led to several industries exiting the state.

“It is essential to recognize that a double-engine government is crucial for Bihar. Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can collaborate to realize Bihar’s aspirations. The plane is prepared for take-off; this is not the moment to halt progress. I urge Bihar to grant us a fifth term, and together we can advance the state significantly,” he stated.

Lokesh remarked on the transformation of Bihar under Nitish Kumar from a period of ‘jungle raj’ to a state now experiencing swift advancement due to the double-engine government. “I engaged with industrialists in Patna, and they expressed satisfaction with the developmental initiatives and government policies. Bihar has received the largest funding allocation in the Union Budget, second only to Andhra Pradesh. This success is due to the NDA leading both states,” he noted.

“Securing NDA's victory in Bihar is essential for three reasons: a proven leadership track record, the advantages of a double-engine government, and the need for governmental continuity,” he added.

Lokesh highlighted Bihar's significant role in achieving the Viksit Bharat goals and urged the youth to ensure NDA's triumph for comprehensive development in the state.

Additionally, Lokesh met with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Patna. The TDP leader shared on X that Pradhan is diligently working towards the NDA's success in Bihar.

Lokesh acknowledged Pradhan’s critical contributions to BJP's victories in Haryana and Odisha elections. “I commended Shri Pradhan for his constructive efforts to reinstate the NDA government in Bihar and expressed confidence that the NDA will prevail once again,” he mentioned.

Earlier, Lokesh had discussions with representatives from the Bihar Industries Association and the Chamber of Commerce in Patna. “The development of the nation is contingent upon the strengthening of states. The people have chosen the right leader as Prime Minister at the right time, leading to unparalleled development in India over the last decade,” he concluded.
