Recently, the railways also introduced a new Amrit Bharat Express train from Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu to Charlapalli, further enhancing connectivity among Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, which is anticipated to provide considerable ease for long-distance travelers.
This train is projected to cover a distance exceeding 1500 km in approximately 28-30 hours, passing through significant stations such as Madurai Junction, Tiruchchirapali, and Tirupati.
