He will inaugurate an animal feed factory with an investment of Rs 43 crore. This facility is anticipated to enhance livestock farming and the associated industries in the region.

Kumar will also lay the foundation stone for a bridge in Alauli, a crucial infrastructure project estimated at Rs 100 crore, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the local residents. The emphasis on Khagaria signifies a commitment to addressing regional needs in maize and milk production industries, which could catalyze economic growth and development in the locality.

The third phase of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Pragati Yatra, scheduled from January 16 to January 29, has been revised to incorporate overnight stays in Madhepura.

The updated itinerary, conveyed through a letter from the Cabinet Secretariat Department to senior officials, reflects changes aimed at enhancing engagement during the Yatra.

On January 16, Nitish Kumar will visit Khagaria and return to Patna the same day. He is set to travel to Begusarai on January 18 and return to Patna the same day. Unlike the initial plan issued on January 9, the Chief Minister will now use Madhepura as a base for multiple district visits, staying there for five nights.

On January 20, Kumar will journey to Supaul, followed by another overnight in Madhepura. He will replicate this for visits to Kishanganj, Araria, and Saharsa on January 21, 22, and 23 respectively.

CM Nitish Kumar will return from Saharsa to Patna on January 23. He will resume the Pragati Yatra on January 27 with a visit to Purnea, returning to Madhepura for the night. He will head to Katihar on January 28, again returning to Madhepura for overnight accommodation.

On January 29, he will conclude the Yatra in Madhepura and return to Patna.

The overnight stays in Madhepura are designed to allow the CM more time for interaction with local stakeholders and to address regional issues. This revised schedule emphasizes the Chief Minister's dedication to thorough ground assessment and public engagement during the Pragati Yatra.
