PM Modi and Kharge Share Heartfelt Christmas Greetings, Emphasizing Harmony and Togetherness

New Delhi, Dec 25 (NationPress) On this festive occasion of Christmas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge conveyed sincere greetings on Wednesday, underscoring the values of compassion, peace, and unity.
Using the social media platform X, PM Modi expressed his heartfelt wishes and reflected on the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ. In his post, he stated:
"Wishing you all a Merry Christmas. May the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ guide everyone toward peace and prosperity."
PM Modi also shared a video from his recent attendance at the Christmas event organized by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI). In this video, he highlighted the lasting importance of Jesus Christ’s teachings:
"Jesus Christ illuminated the path of compassion and selfless service to the world. We celebrate and remember Jesus to integrate these values into our lives. I believe this is our individual responsibility, a social duty, and also our responsibility as a nation."
"Today, the country embodies this spirit through the commitment of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Prayas.' The teachings of Lord Christ celebrate love, harmony, and brotherhood. It is imperative that we all collaborate to strengthen this spirit," PM Modi stated.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also shared his Christmas greetings, emphasizing the principles of forgiveness, service, and compassion. In his post on X, he remarked: "To my fellow citizens, I extend warm wishes on Christmas, which embodies the ideals of forgiveness, peace, and unity.
The festival celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ highlights the necessity of adhering to the ideals of sacrifice, service, redemption, and amity. The values of compassion for all beings and concern for those in need imbue this joyful occasion with a unique spirit of sharing," Kharge added, "May these festivities herald a new era of hope, happiness, and prosperity for all. Merry Christmas!"
