Rajasthan Government to Provide Land for Hostel in Honor of Sahibzades: CM Sharma

Jaipur, Dec 26 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, announced on Thursday that the BJP government will designate land for the Sikh community to establish a hostel in memory of the Sahibzades.

This statement was made during the 'Shabd Kirtan' event at the party's state headquarters, commemorating Veer Bal Diwas.

The Chief Minister expressed profound respect for the Sahibzades, sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who laid down their lives for their nation, culture, and beliefs. He remarked, "The Sahibzades demonstrated extraordinary determination in their sacrifice to safeguard the motherland, religion, and culture. Their legacy serves as an inspiration for all of us. Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh gave their lives at such a tender age... they exemplify the essence of protecting religion and truth," he stated.

CM Sharma pointed out the oppressive actions of the Mughal rulers, who sought to forcibly convert the Sahibzades, who faced death with unwavering courage to defend their faith and homeland. He commented, "The martyrdom of these valiant individuals teaches us that adherence to the path of religion demands not age, but steadfastness and bravery."

The Chief Minister also paid tribute to the mother who instilled such noble values in her children, guiding them to make sacrifices for their country and faith.

CM Sharma reiterated that the BJP is devoted to ensuring that the sacrifices of the Sahibzades are conveyed to younger generations. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for acknowledging their courage by declaring their martyrdom as National Children's Day, a significant move in safeguarding and passing on our cultural heritage to future generations. "We must all embody the principles of these heroic Sahibzades in our lives," he urged.

BJP State President Madan Rathore condemned the atrocities inflicted by the Mughals upon the Sahibzades, who endured immense suffering to uphold their faith. He stated, "Instead of succumbing to pressure, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh chose to lay down their lives. Their valor is an inspiration for all of us." Rathore also welcomed the initiative taken by PM Modi to observe Children's Day on the martyrdom of the Sahibzades, rather than on the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru.

Rathore further emphasized the significance of remaining vigilant and raising awareness regarding the atrocities committed by the Mughals. "If we come together and organize, no one will dare to challenge us," he asserted.

Pranvendra Sharma, State Convener of the Programme Committee, noted that special events were conducted throughout the state to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas.

Khalsa Panth scholar Dr. Manjit Kaur shared the inspiring tales of the Sahibzades' bravery.
