The Chief Minister emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's principle of 'Sahkar se Samriddhi' (prosperity through cooperation) has revitalized India's cooperative sector.
He mentioned that the creation of the Ministry of Cooperation in 2021 is a testament to this vision, and the National Cooperation Policy, 2025, stands as one of its key accomplishments.
According to him, Amul is more than just a brand; it embodies the power of India's cooperative movement.
The modern facility in Rohtak aims to meet the dairy needs of Delhi-NCR and northern India, thereby providing a substantial boost to Haryana's rural economy.

With this expansion, it has become the largest facility in the country for the production of curd, buttermilk, and yogurt.
The Chief Minister further stated that the new unit will ensure enhanced prices for farmers and will create thousands of job opportunities for the youth.
He highlighted that the state government is offering low-interest loans to farmers through cooperative societies.
HAFED is ensuring timely supply of quality seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, while the sugar federation is compensating sugarcane farmers Rs 400 per quintal and operates six cooperative sugar mills across the state.
CM Saini noted that Haryana ranks third nationally in milk production, boasting a per capita availability of 1,105 grams per day and an annual output of 122.2 lakh tonnes.
Producers associated with cooperative dairy societies have been receiving benefits under the Accident Insurance Scheme since 2015, with the insurance coverage increased to Rs 10 lakh for the 2023-24 period.
