Key Takeaways
New Delhi, March 22 (NationPress) The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, remarked on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved a remarkable milestone by serving a total of 8,931 days as a leader committed to the nation's welfare.
Sachdeva highlighted that PM Modi's electoral success includes four terms as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Gujarat and three terms as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lok Sabha from Uttar Pradesh, establishing a distinctive standard of popularity.
He emphasized that during this journey of 8,931 days of public service, which began on February 24, 2002, and continues to this date, March 22, 2026, PM Modi's visionary leadership has steered Gujarat and subsequently, since 2014, the entire nation toward an extraordinary path of development.
Throughout this committed journey, PM Modi has not only made India more self-reliant but has also elevated its status to provide global leadership.
Sachdeva asserted that it is no exaggeration to claim that PM Modi's initiatives—renaming 'Rajpath' to 'Kartavya Path', the Prime Minister's residence to 'Lok Kalyan Marg', and 'Raj Bhavans' to 'Lok Bhavans'—have motivated citizens across the country to embrace the principles of truth, service, and dedication.
In a separate issue, Sachdeva criticized Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Leader of Opposition Atishi for attempting to politicize the Speaker's decision to suspend four MLAs from her party during the last assembly session.
After Atishi threatened to boycott the Budget Session unless the suspensions were lifted, Sachdeva countered that the LoP is struggling to accept that the assembly is operating smoothly for the first time, with bills passing and pressing issues concerning Delhi being addressed.
“The AAP government has merely utilized the Assembly for political speeches instead of tackling the real issues of Delhi and creating effective policies to manage the city,” he stated.
