Patna, March 27 (NationPress) In Patna, the 'Saugat-e-Modi' initiative has commenced the distribution of gift kits to underprivileged Muslims, spearheaded by the BJP State Minority Front. This effort targets impoverished families residing in slums near the High Court Mazar. With Eid approaching, numerous families who were unable to purchase new clothing are now receiving thoughtful gifts from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and are voicing their appreciation.

IANS interviewed several beneficiaries.

Mohammad Babar Ali, a Patna resident, remarked, “Modi Ji, the Prime Minister of our nation, has accomplished admirable work. Many claimed that Modi Ji disregards Muslims, but he is showering love on Muslims. He is gifting so much during Eid. Modi Ji, our nation's Prime Minister, is unparalleled. We hope Modi Ji will shine again. I wish to express my gratitude for this kit.”

Sohra Khatoon, another recipient from Patna, shared: "For the first time, we are receiving this. We will pray for Modi Ji. This Eid, we poor individuals have received a new sari for the first time."

Shakeela Khatoon, another beneficiary, added: “This is the first time we have received such a gift. It comes from the Modi government. Our prayers are with Modi Ji. We poor individuals will celebrate Eid joyfully.”

Asma Khatoon, another beneficiary, said: "This is the first time we’ve received such a generous gift. Whenever we wear the clothes, we will remember Modi Ji's name."

BJP state spokesperson Anamika Paswan stated: "This is a message from the Prime Minister to the needy Muslim brothers and sisters. These gifts will be distributed to 32 lakh families nationwide."

The 'Saugat-e-Modi' campaign aims to reach 32 lakh underprivileged Muslims across the country, with special kits being given to assist them in celebrating Eid. The initiative began in Nizamuddin, Delhi, under the leadership of BJP President J.P. Nadda. Approximately 32,000 Minority Morcha workers will visit 32,000 mosques to distribute these kits to the beneficiaries.
