Jaipur, March 25 (NationPress) Haji Salman Chishti, the Chairman of the Chishti Foundation, has expressed his support for the ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign, an initiative introduced by the BJP Minority Morcha.
As part of this program, special kits will be distributed to 32 lakh underprivileged Muslims throughout India in preparation for Eid, ensuring that they can observe the festival without financial strain.
The campaign was launched on Tuesday at Delhi's Nizamuddin Dargah under the leadership of BJP President J.P. Nadda. A total of 32,000 Minority Morcha volunteers will work in conjunction with 32,000 mosques across the nation to assist those in need.
During the event, Haji Salman Chishti hailed the initiative as a ‘commendable’ action, stating: “India teaches us to care for one another. We are a family in this country. This initiative will unite the community and enhance the joy of Eid celebrations. We will pray in Ajmer for everyone’s well-being. Let us commit to supporting one another, collaborating, and progressing together for our country's advancement.”
He also conveyed his appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that this initiative will promote happiness and fortify the bonds of affection within the nation.
Syed Meraj Chishti, Gaddinashin of Ajmer Dargah, also commended the initiative, remarking: “The Muslim community is genuinely pleased with this endeavor. We pray to Khwaja Garib Nawaz to bless PM Modi for his ongoing efforts. The kits will enable numerous underprivileged Muslims to celebrate Eid with dignity. We offer our prayers for the Prime Minister’s health and success, wishing that he continues to embody the spirit of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'.”
