While speaking to the media after distributing appointment letters during a Rozgar Mela event, Scindia expressed that PM Modi has motivated us to commit ourselves to public service.
“Alongside ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, the Prime Minister has urged us to embrace a new mission of ‘Nagrik Devo Bhava’,” he remarked.
This day is significant not just for the 51,236 youth receiving their appointment letters today, but also for those who have been rejuvenated by PM Modi's vision, stated Scindia.
The Union Minister pointed out that under PM Modi's leadership, the nation has made significant progress towards development, and in the years to come, it will claim its rightful place on the global stage.
Scindia emphasized that every citizen must contribute to fulfill that mission, and today’s gathering is part of that overarching goal.
Earlier, he distributed appointment letters to the youth at Rajmata Vijayraje Krishi Vishwavidyalaya in Gwalior during the 15th edition of 'Rozgar Mela'. This initiative was part of a larger event conducted concurrently at 47 locations nationwide.
Since its launch in October 2022, the Rozgar Mela has successfully facilitated the hiring of over 10 lakh individuals into permanent government positions.
In the inaugural edition, 75,000 letters were distributed, while 71,000 were issued during the 14th edition in December 2024.
This program forms part of the government’s extensive strategy to close employment gaps and empower the youth of the nation with valuable opportunities.
Earlier, while addressing the candidates, PM Modi also remarked that the dedication of these individuals will propel India’s journey towards becoming Viksit Bharat.
"With your new responsibilities, you now play a vital role in fortifying India’s economy, infrastructure, internal security, and societal welfare,” the Prime Minister stated.
"The more committed you are, the quicker we advance towards a Viksit Bharat," he concluded.
