Jammu, Sep 28 (NationPress) The Lieutenant Governor (L-G) of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, expressed on Sunday that the 'Sewa Parv' is designed to unite communities, institutions, and individuals in a collaborative effort towards nation building.
The L-G took part in the 'Sewa Parv' event organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi at Katra.
Addressing the audience, he emphasized the importance of this festival celebrating service, creativity, and cultural pride, all in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a 'Viksit Bharat@2047'.
According to the L-G, “Through a shared commitment to service, the 'Sewa Parv' is enhancing public health and fostering ecological sustainability.”
He pointed out that community participation is essential for inclusive growth and highlighted initiatives focusing on women empowerment to achieve women-led development.
“Our primary goal should be to ensure the active involvement of women in decision-making across all societal and economic levels,” he noted.
