New Delhi, March 23 (NationPress) Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), criticized SP MP Ramji Lal Meena on Sunday for labeling the Rajput king Rana Sanga a "traitor," asserting that this statement will serve as the final blow to his party's credibility.
Bansal's comments surfaced during an ongoing controversy following Suman's accusation of the 16th-century Rajput monarch as a "traitor" during a recent debate in the Rajya Sabha last Friday.
In an interview with IANS, Bansal remarked that leaders from the Samajwadi Party (SP) have taken a "supari" (contract) to "disparage" the nation's heroes, revered texts, and saints, while rewarding those deemed traitors.
He expressed his expectation that the Rajya Sabha chairman will take action to remove Suman from the legislative body.
Emphasizing that the nation will not stand for such disrespect, he mentioned that the VHP plans to hold a protest in Rajasthan on Sunday in response to the SP's insult towards Rajputs and national heroes.
Bansal demanded a formal apology from the SP to both the Rajya Sabha and the nation, stating that it would be up to the public to decide if they would forgive the party.
In a social media post on platform X, Bansal criticized the SP for offending Hindu society by branding Rana Sanga, a symbol of national pride, as a "traitor."
He noted that while Suman's name includes 'Ramji', he has 'Aurangji' on his tongue, suggesting that the party is deeply entrenched in "Jihadi appeasement."
Bansal also urged the necessity of eliminating the "Baburvadi and Aurangvadi" mindset.
He remarked that the Samajwadi Party, which claims to be socialist, is instead a "Namazwadi" party.
Intensifying his criticism of Suman, he questioned when these "defenders" of Jihadis and invaders will recognize that Rana Sanga was a fearless warrior, despite having lost a hand and an eye, yet instilled fear in his enemies.
Challenging Suman's claims that Rana Sanga invited Babur to India, Bansal stated: "One of his mistakes was akin to that of Prithviraj Chauhan, in sparing Babur after defeating him.
"Can these Hindu traitors explain why a fierce battle ensued between them if Rana Sanga had summoned Babur?" he questioned, adding, "Babur, who conquered Ibrahim Lodhi, suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of the Rajput forces in Bayana, eastern Rajasthan."
