New Delhi, Feb 20 (NationPress) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, known for his commitment to inspiring youth to contribute to India’s development narrative, will officiate the 65th Convocation of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University located in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra on Saturday, as confirmed by an official source.

During his visit to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar on February 22, the Vice President will also launch the Constitution Awareness Year and Amrut Mahotsav at the Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society in the same city, according to the official announcement made on Thursday.

As part of his itinerary, Dhankhar plans to pay homage at the Grishneshwar Temple in Ellora and explore the historical Ellora Caves (specifically the Kailash Cave).

Just last week, the VP chaired the 10th Convocation Ceremony of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University in Katra, emphasizing the youth as crucial participants in a thriving democracy.

“You are the ones who must drive the engine of progress. Nothing holds you back because we are proud Indians,” he stated.

Dhankhar remarked that today’s young generation has the luxury of thinking freely, as the economy is flourishing due to a favorable environment that had been absent for a long period.

He pointed out the nation’s ascent and the acclaim it has received from global entities, referring to it as a prime destination for investment and opportunities. “We lacked this ecosystem for too long. But now, both boys and girls, you can think freely because our economy is thriving, and global institutions are acknowledging the nation’s progress,” he added.

On various occasions, Dhankhar has stressed the significance of education for women.

“While education is empowering, it is particularly vital for women, as they tend to learn quickly, acquire skills rapidly, and adapt easily to new knowledge, which is largely accessible,” he had noted last month during the Foundation Day of the National Commission for Women.
