Kolkata, Dec 10 (NationPress) Satyajit Ghosh, the son of Bhola Ghosh, a crucial witness against the suspended Trinamool Congress leader from Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas, Sheikh Shahjahan, tragically lost his life in a vehicular accident on Wednesday while on his way to the court to have his father's statements officially recorded.
The driver, Shahnur Molla, who was also in the vehicle, perished in the crash, while Bhola Ghosh narrowly escaped serious injury. The incident occurred on the Basanti Highway when a truck collided head-on with their car.
The force of the impact caused the vehicle to plunge into a roadside ditch, resulting in the immediate deaths of Satyajit Ghosh and Shahnur Molla.
Both Bhola Ghosh and his elder son, Biswajit Ghosh, suspect that this was not merely an accident. “The way the truck struck our car raises suspicions that the intention was to eliminate me as a witness in this case.
