Ahmedabad, Aug 29 (NationPress) Adani Skills & Education (ASE), the skill development division of the Adani Group, unveiled a groundbreaking initiative called Karma Shiksha on Friday. This work-study diploma programme is launched under the auspices of the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
The Karma Shiksha programme aims to empower students who have completed Class 10 and 12, as well as ITI graduates, from all over India by providing them with an education that is both industry-integrated and job-ready.
Chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani, remarked, "With Karma Shiksha, we are making a transformative leap to deliver not only education but also practical skills that pave the way for opportunities."
He further stated, "This initiative reflects our philosophy of Hum Karke Dikhate Hai -- turning intent into action and vision into reality, empowering the next generation to contribute meaningfully to the vision of a Viksit Bharat."
The two-year work-study diploma in Ports Management and Logistics Management offers extensive exposure through integrated learning experiences.
This programme combines theoretical classroom instruction with real-world industry experience across the Adani Group’s key sectors, including ports, power, solar manufacturing, green energy, and logistics.
Student selection for the programme will be based on merit evaluated at the national level across India.
The programme will also provide an appealing stipend to assist students, along with pathways for further education, allowing for lateral entry into degree programmes.
Through Karma Shiksha, students will benefit from an earn-while-you-learn model, ensuring financial independence while pursuing their education.
