Mohali, Oct 22 (NationPress) Punjab FC has enhanced their roster with the acquisition of Dani Ramirez Fernandez, a Spanish attacking midfielder, marking him as the club's second international signing this season, following Samir Zeljkovic.
The 33-year-old player has joined Punjab FC on a one-year deal, arriving on a free transfer. Prior to this, Ramirez played for Manisa FK in Turkey's TFF First League.
Born in Leganes, Spain, Dani Ramirez initiated his youth career at his local club, CD Leganés, before advancing to Real Madrid, where he honed his skills for four seasons and played for Real Madrid C. In 2014, he transferred to Valencia CF B, continuing his development in Spain's competitive lower leagues.
His career path also included stints at Getafe CF and Internacional de Madrid before he ventured abroad in 2017 to join Polish side Stomil Olsztyn SA.
