Munich, Aug 8 (NationPress) Harry Kane has praised his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Son Heung-min, referring to their collaboration as “one of the finest” in Premier League history following the South Korean's exit from the club.
Over nearly ten years together at Spurs, the duo struck a remarkable 47 league goals, establishing themselves as one of the league’s most effective attacking partnerships. Son made a record-setting transfer to Major League Soccer team Los Angeles FC on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old South Korean captain signed with Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, accumulating 173 goals and 101 assists in 454 matches. He was instrumental in ending the club’s lengthy 17-year trophy drought by aiding them in clinching the Europa League title last May.
