Patna, Nov 7 (NationPress) The National President of Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD), Tej Pratap Yadav, forecasted a significant transformation in the political environment of Bihar when the results of the Assembly elections are revealed on November 14. He emphasized his willingness to back any party that tackles genuine issues, generates employment, and curbs the outflow of residents from the state.
“There will be change on the 14th, a complete change. I will support whoever addresses real issues, creates jobs, and halts migration,” Tej Pratap Yadav stated in an interview with IANS.
When questioned about the possibility of his party aligning with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the ex-state minister clarified that his support would hinge solely on the effectiveness and motives of the party that wins.
“We will back whoever secures a majority and establishes the government, provided they prioritize the welfare of the people,” he asserted.
The results of the Bihar Assembly elections are set to be disclosed on November 14, following the second phase of voting scheduled for November 11.
On Thursday, Tej Pratap Yadav expressed strong belief in his victory from the Mahua constituency, where he is running. Speaking to IANS, he mentioned he is “fully confident” of the support from the residents of Mahua.
“Today is voting day, and everyone is heading to the polling booth to make their voices heard. I, too, have cast my vote. I am entirely confident about the Mahua seat, and I trust that the people of Mahua will not let me down. My past work in the area speaks for itself, and I will continue to serve if elected again,” he said.
Tej Pratap also commented on the blessings received from his mother, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, who blessed both her sons—Tej Pratap and Tejashwi Yadav—prior to the elections.
“Receiving our parents' blessings is priceless. We have the support of our parents, and we also seek the blessings of the true owners of democracy—the people,” he remarked.
In Mahua, the main competition is between Tej Pratap Yadav (JJD), Mukesh Kumar Raushan (RJD), Sanjay Kumar (LJP-RV), and Indrajeet Pradhan (Jan Suraaj Party).
Once a calm constituency driven by party allegiance, Mahua has now become a crucial point in Bihar's political arena.
In the previous 2020 Assembly elections, RJD’s Mukesh Kumar Raushan triumphed over JD(U)’s Ashma Parveen by a margin of 13,770 votes.
