New Delhi, March 31 (NationPress) The Bihar BJP State President, Sanjay Saraogi, emphasized on Tuesday that the party's focus on illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators residing in India is a matter of national significance, not merely an election strategy. Supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertions regarding infiltrators, Saraogi remarked, “The Prime Minister's statement is accurate; Bangladeshi infiltrators pose a challenge for the entire nation. If you visit Bihar, particularly the Seemanchal region, you will witness this firsthand. Home Minister Amit Shah spent three days in that border area along with senior officials, underscoring the seriousness with which the Government of India views this issue.”
“In Assam and Bengal, especially in Bengal, a significant population of Bangladeshi Muslims has settled, leading to the misallocation of Bengal's resources… whether it's the Assam border area, their numbers are increasing, and these infiltrators are establishing homes there… this is evolving into a national crisis; infiltrators are more than just an electoral issue,” he added.
Addressing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Saraogi accused her of making “completely unfounded and ludicrous” claims. “Her statements are utterly baseless and absurd. The anxiety of impending defeat is evident in her remarks even before the elections. Such statements are unjustifiable, especially during an election period.”
