Why Did PM Modi Criticize the Opposition Over Infiltrators and Bihar's Development?

Patna, Sep 15 (NationPress) On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled development initiatives worth Rs 40,000 crore in Bihar's Purnea, targeting the Opposition and accusing them of supporting infiltrators while ignoring the progress of the state.

During a significant public gathering in Purnea, PM Modi launched a vigorous critique of the Rashtriya Janata Dal-Congress alliance.

"These leaders shamelessly advocate for infiltrators from abroad. Anyone who is an infiltrator must exit India. Only Indian law holds sway here," the Prime Minister stated.

He challenged opposition figures to confront the public directly, asserting that attempts to shield infiltrators would be futile.

PM Modi cautioned that those in Bihar who back infiltrators would face serious repercussions in the forthcoming elections.

Continuing his political onslaught, PM Modi accused opposition parties of indulging in dynastic politics.

"The RJD and Congress are solely concerned with their families. For them, it’s 'Parivar Ka Saath, Parivar Ka Vikas'. For Modi, the citizens of the nation are his family, and we adhere to 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas'," he remarked.

The Prime Minister spotlighted the NDA government’s initiatives for makhana farmers in Seemanchal.

Without directly naming him, PM Modi mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying, "Some individuals wander in makhana fields without any prior knowledge of what makhana even is."

He reminded attendees of the establishment of a National Makhana Board, with Rs 475 crore allocated to secure better prices and technology for farmers.

He contrasted this support with the neglect faced by makhana farmers under previous regimes.

PM Modi criticized the opposition leaders for their disparaging comments.

"Congress and RJD leaders likened Bihar to a 'bidi'. These individuals are indifferent to Bihar and will never witness its advancement," he proclaimed.

In closing, the PM underscored: "The development of Seemanchal is crucial for Bihar's overall growth. The people here have suffered under the misrule of the RJD and Congress. The NDA is dedicated to reversing this trend."

PM Modi also highlighted both completed and ongoing development projects, including the inauguration of the long-awaited Purnea Airport terminal, which was finished in just five months, positioning Seemanchal on the aviation map of India.

Additionally, he inaugurated the Araria–Galgalia–Thakurganj new rail line valued at Rs 4,410 crore.

He also flagged off the Jogbani–Danapur Vande Bharat Express, Jogbani–Erode Amrit Bharat Express, and Saharsa–Amritsar Amrit Bharat Express.

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the Vikramshila–Katariya railway line, worth Rs 2,170 crore, a 2,400 MW thermal power project valued at Rs 25,000 crore in Bhagalpur's Pirpaiti block, the Kosi–Mechi interstate river link project (Phase-1) worth Rs 2,680 crore, and Namami Gange projects in Bhagalpur, which include sewage treatment plants, interception and diversion projects, and drinking water projects for Darbhanga, Katihar, and Bhagalpur.

As part of the housing and social development initiative, PM Modi distributed keys to beneficiaries under the PM Awas Yojana for 40,920 families.

These homes were constructed at a cost of Rs 603 crore, along with the allocation of a community investment fund amounting to Rs 500 crore.
