Houthis from Yemen Announce Collaborative Drone Strikes with Iraqi Resistance Targeting Israel

Sanaa, Dec 21 (NationPress) The Houthi faction in Yemen has announced that they executed collaborative drone strikes with the Iraqi Resistance, targeting military and critical installations in Israel.
Yahya Sarea, the Houthi military spokesperson, stated, “We will respond to any escalation from the Israeli-US alliance against Yemen with equivalent measures, and we will not hesitate to strike at the critical facilities of the Israeli adversary and the military actions of the US.” This declaration was made during a rally for Houthi supporters in the capital, Sanaa.
Sarea emphasized that attacks on Israel would persist until the aggression against Gaza ceases.
As reported by Xinhua news agency, Israel has not yet responded to the Houthi claims.
On Thursday, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that Israeli forces conducted airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen, resulting in the deaths of nine individuals.
“The targeted sites included ports and energy infrastructure in Sanaa, which the Houthis have been utilizing in ways that significantly aided their military operations,” Hagari added.
Previously, the Houthi faction claimed to have executed a drone strike at a military target in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, claiming to have “successfully achieved its objective.”
“We are prepared for a prolonged conflict with the Israeli adversary,” Sarea affirmed in a televised statement broadcast by the Houthi-operated al-Masirah TV on Thursday.
Since late 2014, the Houthi group has maintained control over large areas of northern Yemen, pushing the internationally recognized Yemeni government out of Sanaa.
Since November 2023, the Houthis have been conducting rocket and drone strikes against Israeli cities and have disrupted shipping linked to Israel in the Red Sea, allegedly to express solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict with Israel.
