AAP Criticizes Centre Over School Bomb Threats in Delhi, Calling Law and Order Unprecedentedly Poor

New Delhi, Dec 9 (NationPress) After numerous schools in Delhi received bomb threats on Monday morning, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unleashed a harsh criticism against the Central Government and Union Home Minister, questioning the law and order conditions in the national capital.
More than 40 schools across the national capital, including DPS RK Puram and GD Goenka School in Paschim Vihar, were targeted with bomb threats sent via email.
The threats instigated panic during the busy morning hours as students were arriving, parents were dropping off their kids, and staff were preparing for the day.
Authorities promptly evacuated students and staff as a precautionary step, amplifying worries regarding the safety of educational institutions in Delhi.
In a post on X, the AAP stated, "Delhi is in panic! After incidents like murder, robbery, and shootings, now the miscreants have threatened to bomb Delhi schools."
The party further criticized Home Minister Amit Shah, asserting, "Every citizen of Delhi is living in fear at this moment, yet Amit Shah, tasked with ensuring the safety of Delhiites, isn’t even willing to address the law and order issues."
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also condemned the BJP-led Central Government for its purported inability to maintain security in the city.
"Following the daily occurrences of ransom, murders, and shootings in Delhi, bomb threats to schools are now being reported," she wrote on X.
"The law and order scenario in Delhi has never been so dire. The BJP governing central government has failed in its fundamental duty of ensuring security for the residents of Delhi."
AAP National Convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal joined the criticism, indicating, "The residents of Delhi have never witnessed such a poor state of law and order before. Amit Shah should come forward and answer the citizens of Delhi."
Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia described the situation as "heartbreaking," expressing alarm over the bomb threats.
"This bomb threat to 40 schools in Delhi is heartbreaking. May God ensure everyone’s safety," he commented on social media.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh accused the Home Minister of negligence, posting on X, "Amit Shah Ji, what deep slumber are you in? Wake up, right in your own backyard, children are being threatened with bomb blasts in schools in the capital, Delhi."
Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj echoed these concerns, stating, "The safety of Delhi lies in the hands of the BJP's central government. Initially, threats and extortion against businessmen emerged. Now, schools are being threatened. Where is the Union Home Minister?"
While more details regarding the threats are pending, this incident has reignited discussions about the city’s law and order, prompting AAP leaders to amplify their calls for accountability from the Union Government.
