Ahmedabad, Nov 20 (NationPress) Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is set to inaugurate the new Gujarat BJP District Office, named “Shree Kamlam”, located in Morbi’s Sakat Sanala on November 21 at 2:30 PM. This event is part of his two-day tour across Gujarat, as confirmed by the Gujarat BJP.
Earlier this week, Shah opened the newly built Bhavnagar District BJP office, ‘Bhav Kamalam’, where he addressed a significant assembly of party workers, emphasizing the BJP’s ideological principles and its enduring public support.
Shah highlighted that the BJP is “not merely a political party but a nationalist ideological movement”, contrasting its cadre-driven framework with the Congress’s leader-centric politics.
Criticizing the Congress, he asserted that the opposition merely “copy-pastes foreign policies into India”, while the Modi government creates policies grounded in “India’s realities”.
He pointed to the economic advancement, noting that India has progressed from being the world's 11th-largest economy to the 4th within a decade, expressing optimism that it will secure the third position by 2027.
Shah reminded party members that the BJP has not faced electoral defeat in Gujarat since 1990, attributing this success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, organizational discipline, and welfare initiatives that have lifted 27 crore people out of poverty.
He cautioned Congress members—who, according to him, have “suddenly begun touring the state”—that if they fail to reconnect with the populace, they risk facing a “wipeout like Bihar’s local elections”.
Shah lauded the newly inaugurated Bhavnagar office, describing BJP offices as the essential framework of the party’s organization. The Bhavnagar facility boasts modern features like meeting rooms, a literature section, digital communication areas, parking, and a dedicated ‘Namo Seva Kendra’.
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and State BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma also spoke at the gathering. Mandaviya pointed out that Gujarat has not granted the Congress a mandate since 1985, while Vishwakarma referred to the BJP office as “a temple for workers”, serving as a hub for public service planning and election strategies. The Bhavnagar event also saw attendance from senior leaders, including Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Nimuben Bambhaniya, state ministers, MPs, MLAs, and hundreds of party members. Shah will conclude his visit on Friday with the inauguration of the Morbi district office.
