Patna, Feb 26 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Araria on Thursday, participating in a ceremony at the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) border outpost located in the Letti area. This visit will also involve further security evaluations in the region.

Additionally, he will review the development projects being executed under the centrally sponsored Vibrant Villages Programme as part of his activities in the border districts.

Shah's three-day tour of Bihar commenced on Wednesday, concentrating on bolstering border security, assessing administrative readiness, and overseeing ongoing development initiatives in the Seemanchal area, which is adjacent to the borders of Nepal and Bangladesh.

Upon his arrival in Purnea on Wednesday, the Home Minister received a warm welcome. He then traveled by helicopter to Kishanganj, where he chaired a review meeting at the district Collectorate to evaluate the current situation and ensure coordination among officials.

In Araria, post the inauguration of the border outpost in Letti, Shah will conduct an extensive review meeting at the Araria Collectorate with district magistrates and superintendents of police from seven border districts to discuss matters related to the India-Nepal border.

On February 27, the Home Minister will reconvene with officials in Purnea to further explore issues pertinent to the border districts. After concluding the final set of review meetings, he will head back to New Delhi.
