New Delhi, Feb 19 (NationPress) In a noteworthy move, the Bihar BJP's state headquarters has arranged for approximately 200 devotees from Patna to participate in the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj this Wednesday.

This initiative was orchestrated by Manish Sinha, the coordinator of the BJP’s NRI cell, who highlighted that this effort aims to assist devotees who might not have been able to travel to the Maha Kumbh independently.

As per Sinha, "This sacred event witnesses millions from across the globe gathering to take a holy dip. For those who were unable to attend until now, this arrangement has been put in place to ensure they do not miss this divine opportunity."

Responding to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s controversial remarks labeling the Kumbh as a "Mrityu Kumbh (Death Kumbh)," Sinha stated, “There should be no political discourse on this matter. It’s about faith. Even Mamata Banerjee should attend. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has made excellent arrangements for the Kumbh, and organizing such an event is no small feat.”

Several Patna devotees, as they readied for the journey, shared their thoughts with IANS.

Anita Sinha, a Patna local, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "We are overjoyed that we are going without any difficulties. The BJP is providing all necessary amenities. The Modi government has given women the confidence to not fear the crowds." Regarding Mamata Banerjee’s comments, Sinha added, “She made a misguided statement.”

Sunita Kumari, another devotee from Patna, radiated happiness as she prepared for the holy dip, saying, "Words cannot capture the joy of attending the Kumbh. As for Mamata Banerjee’s remarks, people will continue to voice their opinions, and those who wish to go will certainly go."

Ashok Kumar from Patna echoed similar feelings, stating, "We had almost lost hope of attending the Kumbh, but thanks to PM Modi and the BJP, we are now going. The BJP will regain power in Bihar."

Manoj Kumar, also hailing from Patna, conveyed his appreciation, saying, "The Maha Kumbh occurs only once every 144 years. We are incredibly pleased to be able to bathe during the Maha Kumbh. This opportunity would not have been feasible without the BJP’s assistance."

Seema from Patna’s Kankarbagh area also expressed her delight, stating, "We had no high hopes due to the crowds, but after seeing the arrangements made by the BJP, we are ecstatic."
