BJP Alleges Widespread Issuance of Fake SC Certificates in Delhi; Calls for CBI Investigation

New Delhi, Dec 18 (NationPress) Delhi BJP President, Virendra Sachdeva has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of being complicit in a vast scam regarding the distribution of fake Scheduled Caste (SC) certificates and Aadhaar cards to unauthorized individuals.
The allegations suggest extensive fraud that could have serious societal and security consequences.
Sachdeva asserted that in Dwarka district, AAP MLAs such as Naresh Balyan, Bhavna Gaur, and Bhupinder Juneja purportedly utilized government-issued Aadhaar card machines from their offices to manufacture illegal Aadhaar cards.
According to Sachdeva, these counterfeit documents were subsequently used to issue SC certificates to individuals who do not belong to the Dalit community.
The BJP claims that this fraudulent activity has unjustly deprived authentic Dalits of their rightful access to reservations, employment, and other benefits designated for marginalized communities.
“This act transcends mere misconduct; it represents a direct assault on the rights of Dalits,” remarked Sachdeva. “We seek immediate action from the Lieutenant Governor and a CBI investigation to unveil the full scale of this fraud.”
Additionally, there are rising concerns regarding the potential involvement of illegal immigrants, including Rohingyas and Bangladeshis, who may have obtained these counterfeit documents. “This poses a national security risk. Such fraudulent activities could facilitate intrusion and demographic manipulation,” Sachdeva emphasized.
The BJP has also claimed that the execution of this scam would not have been possible without the collusion of Delhi's revenue department. They highlighted that SC certificates exhibit identical signatures from a Tehsildar, prompting inquiries into how these approvals were granted.
As calls for a CBI investigation gain momentum, this alleged scandal highlights a serious breach of social justice and necessitates accountability from the Delhi government.
