Jaipur, March 15 (NationPress) The son of former BJP MLA Jalam Singh Rawlot tragically lost his life in a road accident in Jodhpur.
The incident took place around midnight on Friday on Pal Road within the jurisdiction of the Chaupasni Housing Board police station, resulting in the death of Nipun Raj Singh, aged 26.
A relative of Nipun, Parth Rathore (25), who was also in the vehicle, suffered severe injuries.
According to Head Constable Ratnaram from the Chaupasni Housing Board police station, Nipun was on his way home when the accident happened.
Witnesses reported that the car, traveling at a high speed, suddenly lost control, crossed a one-foot-high divider, and swerved onto the opposite lane.
Bystanders immediately rushed to assist, rescuing both individuals and taking them to AIIMS Hospital. Sadly, Nipun succumbed to his injuries, while Rathore is currently receiving treatment.
Nipun hailed from Satto village in Jaisalmer district, and his father previously held the position of district president for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Barmer.
The sudden loss of Nipun has shocked the community, with BJP members and supporters expressing their sorrow.
On social media platform X, Sheo MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati shared: "The news of the untimely demise of Nipun Raj Singh, son of former Sheo MLA Jalam Singh Rawlot ji, is devastating. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family."
His post continued, "May God grant peace to the departed soul and provide strength to the family to endure this profound loss."
