Jabalpur, March 1 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh's Cooperation Minister Vishwas Sarang has strongly criticized Congress state in-charge Harish Chaudhary's remarks about party leaders transitioning to the BJP. He emphasized that the migration of Congress leaders to the BJP is driven by the party's policies.

During a press conference in Jabalpur, Sarang expressed, "It’s astonishing that a party whose 'shops and showrooms' have all shut down still exudes such arrogance. They should reflect on why their leaders are departing to join other parties. They lack a policy, leadership, and intent."

Sarang further asserted: "The Congress is devoid of policy, has ill intentions, and suffers from a leadership void. If they believe they can govern the state with 'Mitti ke Madhav' (a metaphor for weak leadership), it will not succeed. The BJP is in power, and we require a constructive opposition. We are not in the business of completely dismantling the opposition."

Offering guidance to Congress' state in-charge, Sarang advised: "He ought to comprehend the political landscape in Madhya Pradesh and the prevailing atmosphere. The individuals leaving Congress for the BJP are doing so to express their gratitude to the nation, not for personal gain. Many have joined the BJP, not because they have secured ministerial or legislative roles, but due to their ideological alignment with the party. Congress should ponder why it finds itself in this predicament."

It’s noteworthy that Congress has dispatched Chaudhary to Madhya Pradesh to engage with party workers in a bid to strengthen and rejuvenate the organization.

The historic party suffered significant losses in both assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

In a recent meeting, Chaudhary indicated that those who wished to depart the party had already done so, asserting that only the "true soldiers" of the party remain.
