Prior to the Budget unveiling, BJP leaders voiced their assurance that it will cater to the needs of all community segments.
BJP MLA Abhay Verma remarked, “This marks a promising start, and I am confident that when the budget is revealed tomorrow, it will bring delight to the residents of Delhi.”
The session is expected to include significant reports, such as a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on the Delhi Transport Corporation for 2024. However, it remains unconfirmed whether the Economic Survey will be presented on the opening day.
BJP MLA Karnail Singh also conveyed optimism, stating, “It is going to be an excellent budget. Various community representatives, including traders and laborers, have been engaged in discussions. Additionally, BJP leader and head of the Delhi trade wing Ramesh Khanna stressed that the budget has been crafted with inputs from diverse community members.
He stated, “I am confident this budget will benefit every segment of Delhi. During the election campaign, the party reached out to various communities to understand their needs, and this budget encapsulates those insights. It is destined to be exceptional, providing advantages to all.”
The government has welcomed representatives from various communities, including farmers and traders, to contribute their suggestions for the budget.
According to the legislative agenda, the House will commence with a Question Hour, followed by Special Mention (Rule-280), during which MLAs will present issues related to their constituencies and general matters impacting the people of Delhi, subject to the Chair's approval.
