Commitment to Deliver Promises and Elevate Maharashtra Across All Sectors: Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai, Dec 4 (NationPress) BJP Legislature Party leader Devendra Fadnavis, in his inaugural address after being elected on Wednesday, stated that the Mahayuti government will prioritize the swift advancement of Maharashtra by concentrating on various sections of society. "The election mandate has demonstrated that 'Ek Hai to Safe Hai and Modi Hai to Mumkin Hai'. I express my gratitude to the people of Maharashtra for granting such a significant mandate. I extend my thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J.P. Nadda, caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Dy CM Ajit Pawar, and allied leaders," he remarked.
With this election, Fadnavis has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the chief minister for the third time. He is set to take an oath of office and secrecy on Thursday. Fadnavis previously governed the state from 2014 to 2019 and briefly held the position for 72 hours in 2019. Alongside Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde and NCP President Ajit Pawar, Fadnavis will meet Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan to officially claim the government formation.
"BJP and Mahayuti have received a substantial mandate, which places greater responsibility on us. The people of Maharashtra, including our beloved sisters, brothers, farmers, and youth, as well as OBC, tribals, and marginalized communities, have backed us, and we must honor this mandate. Our foremost aim is to advance the ongoing initiatives and fulfill the promises made in the Sankalp Patra," stated Fadnavis. He further emphasized, "We will strive to elevate Maharashtra to the top tier across all sectors."
He urged party legislators to prepare for sacrifices, particularly as they form an alliance government. "We must meet the people's expectations while keeping the broader objective of enhancing the state's development pace in mind, and we will include Mahayuti partners in this process. We will act in unity and demonstrate our strength," he asserted.
"An activist was appointed to the highest post three times by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP has flourished under his leadership. This has allowed ordinary workers to attain various positions and opportunities to serve. Hence, I express my gratitude to PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and party President J.P. Nadda," Fadnavis articulated. He reminded legislators that the BJP received a mandate in 2019 that was subsequently taken away.
"The MahaYuti government is assuming power in a year marking the 75th anniversary of the Constitution. PM Narendra Modi has consistently stated that the Constitution holds greater significance for him than any scripture. This Constitution has granted every Indian the right to live and thrive, contributing to India's establishment as a great nation," Fadnavis remarked.
"I am grateful to everyone for electing me as the leader of the legislature party. This election is historic," he expressed.
In the meantime, former Chief Minister and BJP Rajya Sabha member Ashok Chavan asserted that Maharashtra will experience stability under Fadnavis' leadership.
BJP leader Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil stated that the Devendra era has commenced with a landslide victory. "Devendra Fadnavis is a dedicated leader, and Maharashtra's future looks promising," he noted.
