New Delhi, Feb 27 (NationPress) During her outreach initiative, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited North-West Delhi on Friday, revealing the government's performance assessment for its inaugural year and vowing swift development in villages over the upcoming four years.

She emphasized that the groundwork for 'Viksit Delhi' has been established during the BJP's initial year in governance, asserting that villages will undergo a total transformation within the next four years.

While addressing constituents of the North-West Delhi parliamentary constituency, she declared that the city's advancement is now evident beyond mere advertisements.

Criticizing prior administrations, the Chief Minister remarked on the long-standing neglect of the region.

In the past year, however, the BJP-led government has initiated tangible development efforts, focusing on the mantra of 'Antyodaya to Gramodaya', aimed at uplifting the most marginalized and fortifying rural communities, she noted.

She expressed that during her visits to rural areas like Mundka, Bawana, Narela, Kirari, and Sultanpur Majra, she feels a sense of kinship.

Describing her inaugural year as a journey of the city from 'distress to transformation', she highlighted the rapid expansion of basic infrastructure, including roads, water supply, and sewage systems across the region.

According to the Chief Minister, new initiatives to enhance access to quality education and improved healthcare are also being expedited.

The commencement of development projects worth Rs 264 crore in the Mundka Assembly constituency signifies a major advancement for the locality.

She also stated that issues previously deemed permanent by earlier administrations are now being tackled with sustainable solutions.

The Chief Minister reiterated her commitment to the principle of 'people above party' and 'nation first', despite some Assembly constituencies in North-West Delhi being under Opposition representation.

Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and inspired by the philosophies of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Nana Deshmukh, she affirmed that the government is dedicated to ensuring that rural Delhi receives equal opportunities as the rest of the city.

Expressing gratitude to the residents for their support, the Chief Minister acknowledged that the progress achieved thus far is a result of the collective strength of each vote.

Among those in attendance were North-West Delhi MP Shri Yogendra Chandolia, Delhi Cabinet Minister Shri Ravindra Indraj Singh, along with other local MLAs and senior BJP leaders, party volunteers, and community members.
