Palamu (Jharkhand), Dec 12 (NationPress) The Government of India’s ‘Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana’ has emerged as a key initiative in empowering rural women towards self-reliance. This program facilitates the formation of women’s self-help groups, providing them with access to affordable loans, skill development training, and market access to enable them to establish their own businesses. Many women in Palamu, Jharkhand, have significantly benefited from this initiative.
Sushma Devi, a participant and trainer under the ‘Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana’, shared with IANS that she received training from an NGO and now produces and markets food items like pickles and papad.
