Gurugram, Feb 11 (NationPress) The Haryana government is dedicated to providing international-level amenities in the world's largest jungle safari planned for Gurugram, stated Haryana Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister Rao Narbir Singh on Tuesday.
The minister has been actively touring significant wildlife rescue centers and jungle safaris both domestically and internationally, assessing the wildlife preservation measures and visitor amenities available at these locations.
The Minister, accompanied by project-related officials, visited the Gorewada Wildlife Safari in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and the Vantara Wildlife Rescue Center in Jamnagar, Gujarat. He instructed the officials to examine the top-notch services and facilities offered at these sites.
He emphasized that the jungle safari in Gurugram is set to be the world's largest, aiming to incorporate the finest features from leading wildlife rescue centers and jungle safaris across the globe.
Initiating this project in the Aravalli mountain range will boost tourist visits, create local job opportunities, and enhance tourism.
"The Aravalli mountain range is celebrated for its natural beauty, biodiversity, and historical significance. This project will not only bolster the local tourism sector but will also aid in environmental conservation and encourage active involvement from local communities, educating visitors on conservation initiatives and the significance of biodiversity," he said.
The Minister also mentioned that the upcoming jungle safari and green corridor in the Aravalli mountain range, spanning Gurugram and Nuh districts, will transform the local rural landscape.
He added that the completion of this project will facilitate environmental conservation while creating new employment avenues for local inhabitants within the tourism sector.
"The Jungle Safari will be established over approximately 10,000 acres in the Aravalli mountain range within Gurugram and Nuh districts of Haryana," the minister concluded.
