Enhanced Connectivity to Pave the Way for Gurugram's Bright Future: Haryana Minister

Gurugram, Jan 5 (NationPress) Haryana's Minister for Industry and Commerce, Environment, Forest, and Wildlife, Rao Narbir Singh, stated on Sunday that the foundation for Gurugram's bright future will be established through enhanced connectivity and a solid road network.

In this regard, an elevated road connecting the Gurugram Jaipur National Highway to Vatika Chowk, along with four flyovers from Vatika Chowk to Ghata, will be constructed at a cost of Rs 800 crore, significantly improving connectivity.

The Cabinet Minister mentioned that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for this significant initiative, which will be executed by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), is currently in preparation, and construction is set to commence soon.

He added, "In the developmental initiatives planned for Gurugram over the next five years, the opinions of the common people will be prioritized."

He further remarked that the BJP has secured power in Haryana for the third time, as it not only makes commitments but also delivers on them.

The Cabinet Minister instructed, "Officials should ensure that every facility is accessible to the citizens."

"Development projects must be completed within the specified timeline to ensure the public can benefit promptly. My priority is to ensure that citizens receive the advantages of public welfare schemes and various services initiated by the government," he stated.

The Cabinet Minister also acknowledged the request for a community center in Close South, announcing that its construction would begin in the next two months.

In response to concerns regarding encroachment on the green belt from Vatika Chowk to Ghata, he appointed RS Bhatt from the GMDA as the nodal officer responsible for making the city free of encroachments.

He mentioned that a deadline of January 31 has been set to clear this entire 12-kilometer road route of encroachments.

He urged the officials to prepare proposals for future development projects and submit them to the government, so that once approved, development work could commence as soon as possible.
