During a public meeting in Jagtial, Rao declared that abolishing HYDRAA would be the initial decision made upon the BRS regaining power.

In this gathering, KCR welcomed former minister T. Jeevan Reddy into the BRS, appointing him as the party's general secretary.

This event was organized to celebrate Jeevan Reddy's transition from the ruling Congress party.

While expressing his opposition to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s Musi rejuvenation initiative, he questioned the need to demolish 10,000 residences for the project, alleging that there are attempts to seize land under the guise of the Musi project.

He sharply criticized Revanth Reddy for his repeated remarks wishing for his demise.
