Bihar is also participating, with the inauguration of Bihar’s pavilion scheduled for tomorrow. We are working to connect the youth of India with cutting-edge technologies. BJP MLA Ram Kadam emphasized the worldwide significance of AI and the necessity of policy dialogues during the summit.
“As AI opens up new avenues globally, today’s summit will have Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance. Experts will explore how this emerging AI technology can be utilized across business, education, and other domains. These discussions are aimed at shaping the future, as data and AI will define the upcoming era...” he stated to IANS.
These remarks coincided with the opening of the AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam on Monday. The Expo, which runs from February 16 to 20 in conjunction with the India AI Impact Summit at the same location, covers more than 70,000 square meters across ten arenas.
Uniting global tech firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, state governments, and international collaborators, the event showcases 13 country pavilions — including Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and several African nations — highlighting international cooperation within the AI ecosystem.
With over 300 carefully curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations organized around three thematic chakras — People, Planet, and Progress — the Expo will present more than 600 high-potential startups offering globally relevant solutions already implemented in real-world scenarios.
The India AI Impact Expo 2026 is projected to attract over 250,000 visitors, including international delegates, with the goal of fostering new partnerships and generating business opportunities within the rapidly growing global AI ecosystem.
