PM Modi Emphasizes the Magnificence of Maha Kumbh, Advocates for Unity in 'Mann Ki Baat'

New Delhi, Dec 29 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the 117th episode of his monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', underscored the preparations underway for the forthcoming Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, highlighting its vastness, diversity, and the essential message of unity.

PM Modi remarked that efforts for the Maha Kumbh in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj are advancing rapidly.

Reflecting on his recent aerial view of the Kumbh region, he expressed, "A few days ago, I had the chance to observe the entire Kumbh area from a helicopter. It was breathtaking – so massive, so beautiful, so grand. The Maha Kumbh is significant not only for its size but also for its diversity."

The Prime Minister emphasized the event's inclusivity, stating, "Crores of people assemble, accompanied by lakhs of priests, thousands of customs, hundreds of communities, and various Akhadas. There is no discrimination – no one is greater or lesser. Such unity in diversity is unmatched globally. That is why our Kumbh is also a 'Maha Kumbh of Unity.' This year's Maha Kumbh will further reinforce the mantra of unity."

Encouraging citizens to commit to unity and eliminate "divisional hatred" during the Kumbh, PM Modi noted, "In summary, I would say, 'Maha Kumbh ka sandesh, ek ho poora desh' (Maha Kumbh's message is to unite the entire nation). And to put it differently, 'Ganga ki aviral dhara, na bate samaaj humara' (Just like the flowing Ganga, our society must not be divided)."

The Prime Minister also addressed the digital innovations planned for the Maha Kumbh, including a navigation system for various ghats, temples, and parking zones as well as an AI-powered chatbot to offer detailed information. He invited attendees to share selfies with the hashtag Ekta Ka Maha Kumbh.

PM Modi also pointed out the upcoming milestone of 75 years since the adoption of India's Constitution, which will be commemorated on January 26, 2025.

"This is a moment of immense pride for all Indians. Our Constitution, crafted by visionary makers, has endured the test of time. It is our guiding light," he stated.

To honor this milestone, the Prime Minister mentioned year-long initiatives beginning from this year’s Constitution Day on November 26. A dedicated website, Constitution75.com, has been launched to engage citizens, particularly students, with the legacy of the Constitution.

He urged the youth of India to take part in these celebrations and deepen their understanding of the Constitution's principles.
