New Delhi, Dec 4 (NationPress) President Droupadi Murmu is set to express her insights regarding the vital connection between human rights and fair, dignified access to public services during the launch of the Human Rights Day celebrations on December 10, as per an official announcement on Thursday.
President Murmu will serve as the Chief Guest at the Human Rights Day event organized by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) at Bharat Mandapam, the official confirmed.
Human Rights Day is globally observed on December 10 each year, marking the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This day underscores the lasting importance of this pivotal document, which established a universal pledge to protect the rights and freedoms of all individuals worldwide.
